MEMBERSHIP OF IIM
Starting
with a modest Membership base of just 42 in 1946, IIM membership now
stands at an impressive figure of over 12000. This phenomenal growth
of the Institute reflects richness of our country in the field of
metals & materials and is the result of the commitment & dedication
of the honorary office bearers and members. IIM celebrated its
Diamond Jubilee last year (2006).
The various classes of membership of IIM include Honorary Member,
Life Fellow, Life Member, Life Associate Member, Patron Member,
